NEW ANCHORMEDIAONLINE.COM

We wanted to announce the launch of the new Anchor Media Online site. It has been a long time coming, and 2009 has been a very busy year for us, so finding the time to build the new website was tough, however, we managed to do so. We’re very excited and very proud of it. The new site makes it easier to keep people updated, as well as update the porfolio with new work.

Speaking of new work, we have updated the portfolio with new stuff. Make sure you check all of it out.

2010 is looking to be another great year with some amazing projects on the horizon, as well as some new clients. As always, make sure you stay connected with the Anchor Media network by following us on Twitter, friending us on Facebook, and keeping up with the blog.

NEMO “Vibrations” TYPE TREATMENT

One thing I’m very proud of when it comes to this design was the type treatment. It was a long and painful process, individually cutting and placing each of the fragments, but it came out great. Sucks it didn’t make the final cut, but nonetheless it shows what I can do with type.

Note: There was no 3D rendering of the type, it was completely created in photoshop.

Since it didn’t make the final cut, a similar design is available to anyone that wants to go a similar route.

ANCHOR MEDIA POSTER SERIES (print #1)

As I continue to update my portfolio and start putting new pieces in, I finally came across one of the coolest things I have done to date.

Some may know that I am currently moving into a new house. The space above the fireplace was pretty bare and I felt some sort of art needed to go up. So, I decided to design a pretty big vector print.

This is the first poster in a series I will be doing. The print is 32x22, it is a completely vector based piece, including destroyed texture that is on it too. I’m stoked on it. I may have them for sale if anyone is interested.

AM’s NEMO - VIBRATIONS ARTWORK

One of our long time and favorite clients, NEMO, has a new record coming out pretty soon. He asked us to do the album artwork for his new project and we threw a lot of different looks his way. Unfortunately, he ended up going with someone else due to timing issues, but we still love him ;-)

Anyways, we’re very proud of our work, so we decided to show you what we came up with. I will post more pics later of some close up looks at the type and what we did with that. This is by far the best type modifcations we have ever done and we would love to show you some more up close and person looks.

Wanted to give everyone a little update on some really cool stuff that’s going on on my end with some graphic design news.

Anchor Media has exclusively been granted the opportunity to design a set of t-shirts for MMA and WEC fighter Scott Jorgensen. If you aren’t familiar with Scott, he is currently an up and coming 135 pound fighter in the World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) who is owned by the Zuffa company (also owns the UFC). Scott is an exciting fighter and will be fighting Takeya Mizugaki at WEC 45 on December 19th LIVE on the VERSES network.

The t-shirts Anchor Media has designed for Scott will be for his upcoming training camp session. Scott and the rest of his team will be sporting the shirts, which come in 4 different color styles.

I am a huge MMA fan, and have been ever since I was in 5th grade. To be doing this design for Scott, and to finally gain some exposure in the MMA community is a great honor and pleasure for me. Please be sure to check Scott out, as well as the WEC.

Be sure to tune into the VERSES network on December 19th for WEC 45.
