NEW ALBUM ART: Red Sun Rising “Making of Kings”

I don’t need to go into a giant explanation of why Red Sun Rising is one of my favorite bands to work for, for that, just check out the countless other posts on projects I’ve done for them. For their new full-length, they came to me once again to help define and deliver their album artwork, and more for “Making of Kings”.

The new cover not only showcases the feel of their new and evolving sound, but also the dark imagery behind the music they are trying to convey. The concept is open to interpretation, but was super fun to work with. Look for a new website, and merchandise to accompany this soon.

NEW ALBUM ART: Deus Invictus - “Staged in Awaiting”

This artwork has been a blast to work on. I got the call from Nich (guitarist) and he let me know the concept and what the feel of the album was, From there we finalized the cover and then worked very hard on a full 4 page, 8 panel booklet and the rest of the jewel case packaging.

I’ll be posting the full layout in my portfolio a little later.

ALTERNATE ALBUM ART FOR BRAVE THE STORM’S MY MIND IS ELSEWHERE EP

This was a seperate option but similar concept for their album cover. Thought this one turned out great too.

NEW ALBUM ART: Brave the Storm - My Mind Is Elsewhere

The band came to me with a pretty interesting and cool concept that I wasn’t sure if I could do, but after some in depth discussion it seemed we were on the same page. After some work we finally settled on this, and both myself, and the band could not be happier.

The concept of the piano is meant to represent the lone ambition of music as a reachable and achievable goal and mindset.

Anyways, look for their new record very soon, as well as a MySpace layout from Anchor Media soon.

NEMO - “MEMORIES” SINGLE

One of my all time favorite clients and Lexington KY hip-hop mastermind, NEMO and I have collaborated once again.

If you recall, I did some work for him in th epast on his first mixtape “Elevator Music” as well as some initial work on his “Vibrations” EP that never got released.

Nonetheless, NEMO came back to me with an amazing idea for his first single off his “Lies. Rants. & Confessions.” record that will drop later.

This “Memories” track is on another level, plain and simple. He came to me with the concept and I did my thing, and as you can by some of the most influential people, not only in black history, but history in general, the cover turned out amazing.

But also some exclusive downloadable content.

NEW WORK: DEAD ICONS - VULTURES EP ALBUM ART

Some good friends of mine in the band Dead Icons came to me to do some limited edition, hand numbered album artwork for their CD release show.

I did a handful of concepts for their album, but here are all of the versions I sent them over. I’m pretty happy with them.

PROJECT PREVIEW: DEUS INVICTUS ALBUM PACKAGE

My good friends from Georgia, the metal masterminds Deus Invictus approached me to do an album package for their upcoming record “Staged in Awaiting”.

Here is a little snipit of the cover that is still in progress. So far everything has come out perfect, and even though alot still needs to be done, I am definitely stoked for what the final version will look like.

I will be doing a 4 panel fold out insert for their jewel case packaging.

As I said earlier, I am in the process of re-vamping the Anchor Media website. I’ve been piecing together the new portfolio bit by bit.
