PROJECT SNIPPET

A few years ago when I was getting my Associates in design, one of my favorite teachers had told me about this book, the Graphic Artist’s Guild’s Pricing & Ethical Guidelines…
I could not have been more thankful to have received such a tip, so I decided I would pass along the information.
The book has a ton of great info about setting rates, pricing, and just tips on how to make your outfit a little more official. You would be amazed at just how important doing little things are.
Oh, and if you decide to pick it up, don’t forget to write it off on your taxes. Any bit of design literature you purchase can be written off on taxes for freelance designers as a business expense, so SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS!!!
ANCHOR MEDIA POSTER SERIES (print #1)
As I continue to update my portfolio and start putting new pieces in, I finally came across one of the coolest things I have done to date.
Some may know that I am currently moving into a new house. The space above the fireplace was pretty bare and I felt some sort of art needed to go up. So, I decided to design a pretty big vector print.
This is the first poster in a series I will be doing. The print is 32x22, it is a completely vector based piece, including destroyed texture that is on it too. I’m stoked on it. I may have them for sale if anyone is interested.
