MMA CLIENT: Johny Hendricks, UFC Fighter, Signature Shirt
Finally going to release this sucker…
This is a signature shirt I designed for two time NCAA division one wrestling champion and MMA welterweight fighter Johny Hendricks. Johny is an Oklahoma State University alumnus who ventured over to the WEC, and eventually to the UFC last year. Since, Hendricks has bolstered an impressive 7-0 record with a huge win over Ultimate Fighter Season 7 winner Amir Sadollah at UFC 100.
The shirt’s concept stems from Johny’s Native American roots.

PROJECT PREVIEW: UFC FIGHTER SHIRT
This weekend I posted a project preview for a pretty big client I’ve got coming up. This preview is for a t-shirt I did for a UFC fighter. Can’t drop the name of who it is yet, but what I can say is that he has fought on main cards of UFC events, and his UFC debut was huge win ;-) haha.
Ok, well that was fun.
Pretty stoked on this design, just waiting for the OK before I can post the full thing.
Stay tuned for more news and info. I may be poking my head around the Lexington area in the next couple weeks at some events.
Wanted to give everyone a little update on some really cool stuff that’s going on on my end with some graphic design news.
Anchor Media has exclusively been granted the opportunity to design a set of t-shirts for MMA and WEC fighter Scott Jorgensen. If you aren’t familiar with Scott, he is currently an up and coming 135 pound fighter in the World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) who is owned by the Zuffa company (also owns the UFC). Scott is an exciting fighter and will be fighting Takeya Mizugaki at WEC 45 on December 19th LIVE on the VERSES network.
The t-shirts Anchor Media has designed for Scott will be for his upcoming training camp session. Scott and the rest of his team will be sporting the shirts, which come in 4 different color styles.
I am a huge MMA fan, and have been ever since I was in 5th grade. To be doing this design for Scott, and to finally gain some exposure in the MMA community is a great honor and pleasure for me. Please be sure to check Scott out, as well as the WEC.
